Gte the chinese or japanese steam straightening irons. My hairdresses use it and it works wonder. The hair look japanese straight with the iron alone! Dont get the lousy Conair ones. They ruin the hair.

HEY *Femme Fatale *

what would u suggest.. names.. brands.. so i kno what im lookin for.. thanksss

Well my hair wasn't curly curly, it was always straight at the top and curly at the ends, so more like frizzy and wavy :) so when it grows out it wont really show until it grows a few inches.

hum sa ho, well I cant really say either since I just got it done, but it should be straight until it grows out. There are different types of straightening but the yuko system is the best i think.

sweet sonia thanks for the tip!

FF, that must be really handy to have, but it still requires work and effort!

brit chick thats right, you cant do it on coloured or treated hair. so has shahreen had it done too? and how has your hair reacted since?

devil, whats glossified?

whats thermal reconditioning?

xara, youre so lucky you have straight hair! curling tongs dont work?

So how easy is the maintaince?

There is none. You can literally just wash and go.

yeah i,m thinking of straightening the hair on my back too.

^^ a lil more than i cared to kno...

when my hair grows longer, they started to get curled! i dunno why:bummer:

they werent like this b4 since i got a hair cut and got my hair really short.

now since they are long, they r getting curled and ive to cut those curls one by myself…

any tip:teary1:

Thermal reconditioning, Japanese Straightening, Magic Straight, Yuko System these are all basically hair straightening. I think they use the same chemicals maybe in different quanitities, but it's all the same thing.

Not quite saima. Yes some use different chemicals, but some 'relax' the hair structure rather than straighten it. Also different treatments are used for different hair types, eg afro hair, coloured hair etc.
