Pir sahab himself spent a few weeks in AmsterDam, Groningen and maastricht in 1991 on a study exchange program.
You are allowed to go see mem kid before you come for Ziyarat in Chicago. This is based on one condition that you will bring nazrana-e-aqeedat from mem as well.
Since you are a student. Pir Sahab will be returning home to London sometime in early summer, which may significantly reduce the travel expenses for you.
