I've recently started reading Bride and Prejudice. It's pretty interesting - almost Life1 like. :D Another good book I read a few years ago was 'Sold', it's an autobiography and really overwhelming, but a very good read.

Hosseini's Kite Runner - yes the movie is worth watching after reading the book - you feel you know the characters

Hossin's Thousand splendid Suns - sad but gripping
Jhumpa Lahiri's several bboks including The Namesake
The Intelligent Investor - Benjamin Graham (the only investment book you need to read)
To read - Dalrymple's The Last Mughal

Its an incredible book in my opinion as you can relate the strategies/tactics of war in Sun Tzu days to modern day work, war, sports. Etc

It might be old but it will never be outdated. :)

Ive just been recommended by my teacher to read Gone with the wind and novels by John Grisham. About Gone with the wind he says, ‘agar yeh nahi parha..tau kuch nahi parha’ :hmmm: Enticing!
