Personal hygiene has nothing to do with it. But if you want to equate your religion to crap (literally), that's your prerogative. I see Islam in quite a different light.
(and wiping your bum doesn't change your perception of god. this story is hogwash).

yaaar...paper cup does not have enough water in it.
I am just glad this this bloke did not run into some french guy who introduced him to a bidet warna he would not hve converted

Contrary to common belief in Pakistan , European wash their behind after taken care of business , so do Hindus. It is not limited to Muslims.
Wiping behinds or washing them is not related to religious thinking , inviting someone to Islam demands much more than washing your behind with water.
You will find lot of Islamic folklore stories which are based on hearsay. They have been accepted by illiterate masses as absolute Islamic truth but a person having a little wisdom will question their validity.
So we should critically evaluate a story like this before passing it along.
