my mum and grandma been giving me lectures about looking after my mum in law and hubsnad they say u should respect ur mum in lawas she is giving u a well educated son and they said too look after my husband and listen on wotever he say and never to answer him back and many other stuff lol well i am enjoying these lectures when my mum and grandma gives me now adays

did u girls as well got these lectures from ur mum or someone b4 u were getting married and did u enjoyed them?

yep i know its common sense but my mum in law will stay with me and his son forever and i am a girl who is very very sensitive soo my mum and grandma just telling me more stuff just so tht i have a good future and teaching me how to handle things its just bascially i am a kid for them so they teaching me things

Sadly some people have to be told (and I don't mean mahanoor) because for some reason they think their inlaws and husband are evil or something and need to be controlled......I say this from having met some desi girls that thought that way.

I suppose it depends on everyones definition of respect…some people think swearing at someone is also respect as long as they are asking for it (ive seen some girls like this)
