According to Hollywood sources, the hot star of Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl is set to beat American actress Jessica Simpson to the lead role - made famous by Barbara Eden in the hit show. An insider reveals, “Keira is obviously in big demand at the moment, and was simply the number one choice for the role.” In the original show, Larry Hagman played an NASA astronaut who discovers a mysterious bottle - with Eden’s genie inside -while on a mission.

i dunno who will play larry`s role but i know that Dream of Jeannie will feature a cameo appearance by original "Jeannie" star, Barbara Eden as a department store make-up saleswoman
Keira definately has talent and I think she would do more justice to the role than that airhead Jessica.
Mehnaz- They're doing a movie remake of Bewitched with Nicole Kidman as Samantha. I remember her on an interview saying she was practicing on twitching her nose like Sam. :D

Yeah, Ive seen her in that movie (even though Depp single handedly stole the show). However, Barbara Eden perfected the role of Jeanie, no one can take her place. Knightley can only succeed her.
