It started as a place to connect with your friends and family. A forum to share what is happening in your life and theirs but now it has turned into a battlefield for sharing most outrageous , shocking, gore videos. People are competing with each other on who can shame others more in The name of religion.
Yes I can take care of all this by unfollowing those friends and family members but then I would miss out on someones important life event.

too intrusive, too much boasting about social status by posting pictures, too much invasion of privacy, too many ‘ADD’ requests, too many relatives, friends, acquaintances lurking…and odd creeps!

^i never add relatives on mine except immediate family members. the worst things are when people post a picture of a child suffering from cancer or a starving kid from africa, and it says ‘how many likes for this kid’ and the picture has 2.5k likes and thousands of messages. i mean seriously?? how is that helping?

it’s just a way to compete with each other. i know one lady who wanted to have 500 friends on FB and she asked me if i can recommend someone…lolzzz…
people from my village send add request and if i add and they see pictures of my female family members, they go around gossiping about it…OMG…a girl wearing jeans is taboo for them lolz

Its amazing but right now as I sat in front of the computer, I was thinking that I will write a polite note on the wall, that
“I come to FB for connecting with my friends and not to look at horrific, gory pics. Every now and then, it may happen, but if thi is the only agenda you have, I will politely befiend you. I hope that you understand”

It’s good to have some healthy controversial topics. However, there is usually a limit to how much an individual usually tolerates. At this age, I guess I can tolerate pretty much any topic or discussion.

Game requests. And Pakistani designers/sellers who don’t post prices so each time you’re interested in something, you have to PM them. Most of the times, it seems they can quote whatever price they want. And why are nice dresses/jewelry sooo expensive? Prices have pretty much doubled in a few years’ time. Also, where can I get halwa puri for breakfast around here? It would be nice if my life wasn’t so damn difficult.

This might not be the most PC thing, but I am SO Tired of people sharing stuff about the whole Palestine thing. Everyone is up in arms over it, and SO much stuff that is being shared is absolutely wrong. There is no backing for those news clips, except for a random website on the internet that also talks about how Obama is the Illuminati and the Reptilians have taken over the White House. Honestly. And these are all university educated people. How hard is it to do a reverse google search before posting anything??
