which muslim countries prohibit bringing bible?
hmm i didnt know u couldnt bring religious books into muslim countires.......
its like bringing a bible into a room, and like bringing a bible into a mosque
the bible isnt the issue, its the location that matters. the bible is only an example
Do you consider the whole saudi arabia a mosque?
which muslim countries prohibit bringing bible?
Saudi Arabia. Bible or any non muslim religious material, signs or icons.
umm is it all over saudi land? or just in two holy cities?

it may be some archaic law on paper to pacify the muttaa crowd, but as far back as mid 80's people had non muslim religious artifacts and texts in their homes.

I' ve seen it happening at riyadh and dahran airport which are away from the 2 holy cities.

We have some non muslim staff in saudi and they say its all smuggled from the bahrain causeway.
Re: I dont understand...
i dont see any muslim canrrying a copy of Quran with him on his way to any american or european country....
and even if someone thinks of doing it, others r quick to advise him lest he may end up in Guantanamo bay....

Not seeing is one thing and being searched for; once you are identified/suspected as non muslim are two different things, don't you think so.
My own example; as I have tattoo on my arm and I used to wear a chain on my neck, the dimwits at dhahran airport thought that I was non muslim, they asked me if I have bible in my bags and asked me to remove chain from my neck to see there is no cross or something on it.
Re: I dont understand...
I guess the point of the question is simply that our image in the world over is negative enough. We really dont need to help it along by having discriminatory laws against non-Muslims.
If we want to portray ourselves as a peaceful people, how about we start in our own homes? In our own countries? Instead of preaching to people, we should first look within our own society.
