We as Pakistani should by now be aware of the high probability that we won’t be much better in those conditions such as in SA or AUS (probably worse)
Even if some of u argue that Indians enjoy when Pakistan gets a drubbing but i don’t see any sense in doing the same when it’s India’s turn … it’s like “they jump of the bridge so will we”
So PPL please just a leave out the hatred/antipathy as it’s just a game … just enjoy regardless of the playing parties and if u can’t just leave out ur hatred.
i somewhat agree... but i think a person is justified to ridicule a 91 all out performance REGARDLESS of what team it is.
i agree that we shouldn't stoop down to the level of indian cricket fans and attack every aspect and element of their "rivals" cricket team. in fact, i think most pakistanis are relatively moderate when it comes to criticizing the indian team, especially when compared to their counterparts in india.
but it doesn't help with the kind of clowns india has at the moment (namely greg chappel) to make them that much more laughable.
with that said, i don't think the ridiculing is necessarily stemmed simply from them being "india"-- the fact that they managed to get all out for 91 runs is pretty funny in my opinion.
It is different to loose without two front line bowlers or batter in your team, but when you have a full strength team and a team that is considered as the best ever produced in the history of nation with over 1 billion people, and two of the batters are all time great then it is shamful.
Yes after Indian mauling by SA yesterday, Pakistan may too struggle in SA next year but then who does n't struggle in SA with the possible exception of Aussie batsmen. Hence the need to prepare better pitches in the sub-continent
You shouldn't forget that Pakistan also suffered such humiliating crashes even when we had Miandad, Inzamam in same team and our bowling was also at good strength.
Indian people do the same, why can't we return the gesture? And Sanjay himself said even tho Pakistan's record abroad is shameful, India's record is even worse.
Thats the scary part...or rather reality that our batsmen are just as bad on bouncy fast pitches...
Lets see if ppl like MoYo and Inzi can show some class. A side thought...Afridi is not bad on bouncy pitches..he used to score well in Australia...
wonder if he will get a recall for the SA tour..
I always supported pakistan when they played against any team except india. Now I have to rethink. here u have few educated idiots making some stupid comments. Now I will make sure my presence is really felt when the aloos samosas are going to get burnt by the firangies.:).
There were some nasty comments in the india - sa 2nd odi thread. ANd the the moderators just closed it without deleting the comments some even personal.
Trust me, there are a lot of Pakistanis who support India when they play against any team (it might be because of an Asian team too).
I myself support India if they play against Australia. The rest, well it depends. I always support SA against any other team (except Pak ofcourse) because I think they're great as a team (better than Aus).
You know, this rivalry b/w Pak & Ind is kinda a fun. it makes the games more interesting as Ehsan bhai mentioned English vs Aussie
As far as India's 91 against SA - well thats kinda entertaining - (sorry)
You'll see a lot of Pakistanis using negative/nasty comments for Pak team as well if they show such a performance (i hope not)
I've seen all kind of stupid comments from Indians too in BBC.com cricket threads. So don't take it serious - there are such people on both sides
