Its like youre walking around with your entire criminal record on gupshup for everyone to read. I dont think its necessary and I dont like it at all. Please get rid of it, and when you do decide to make such radical changes, why dont you have a poll or consult with guppies. Im sure Im not the only one who feels this way.
I really think its a bit childish; I mean we dont need to be monitored this way, and so far Ive only seen one person with 5 warnings. Are you going through all this effort to keep 1 or 2 people in check?
Yeah we do want more transparency, but not like this!! I swear if this thing doesnt go, I refuse to stay on gupshup any longer. You guys are really going off your rocker. If you need to monitor those few people then do so by all means, and then in the feedback forum you can report on whos been warned and whos been banned for what reason. This is just making gupshup a more hostile and uncomfortable place. No wonder there are less and less people posting here.
Why dont mods get warnings too? Or do they get dealt with seperately?

And could some other mod reply to this too, apart from who---me, and shed some more light on this. Older moderators please say something.
Let me ask you somethiing. Are you more comfortable with posting your pictures and other personal matters on GS or having these warnings err criminal record (as you put it) show up with your nick. Please explain why as well :)

It was the 'Older' mods idea..actually came all the way from the absolute top. No one listens to us 'young' ppl :p . Its still not clear….if we make it invisible, would that be ok with people? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose? Whats your idea of making the process transparent? The report-in-feedback bit isn’t practical, because feedback is for …well feedback. Maybe make it show for ppl who have more than 0 warnings.
Mod getting warnings from users… :-) ..That can be done as well (more fun IMO). Now that the public knows…Lets see if you guys can get the older mods to do it. :D
ooooh…now were getting personal!! now theres something wrong with my posting pictures, and talking about my life? What is gupshup coming to. this has nothing to do with posting personal pictures and having this warning system next to everyones pictures. What is your problem, Ive been here long enough to know how gupshup works and to make some very good friends here. As a member and an active guppie who uses this service, I have every right to contribute my opinion.

I don't think most members have anything to worry about; it is all an effort to get everyone up to speed on the warning and banning system. Things have in the past happened exclusively behind closed doors so to speak, this is an attempt at being more inclusive with the greater body of the membership in the whole process.
I don't think it's final and may disappear after a while depending on its usefulness.
