Its too soon to read between the lines that Imran has influence and bla bla. By all means it is trial and error kind of thing. YoYo did not od a bad job at all with his limited oppurtunities and now PCB hig ups wanna see how Younis fares. Younis Khan's name was floating around since a while when former coach phybus, captains waqar and Rashid, expressing their opinions about him. If Imran khan's influence was still around, trust me you would have seen some drastic changes in PCB.
Maybe Youhana himself opted to be out of the running, in order to concentrate on his batting. In his absence, there is noone in team experienced AND mature enough to take a leading role. Younis Khan was just the next best thing. I dont think Imran Khans input had anything to do with it. Imran has made far more sensible suggestions in the past, which have been rebuffed...why would the PCB choose to accept this one?
