I don't feel like there is any other way out.

Re: I don't feel like there is any other way out.

One more thing I would like to clarify, my mum isn't physically hurt - I meant life is taking a toll on her .

Re: I don't feel like there is any other way out.

May Allah grant us the wisdom to think clearly, having said that I want to inform you that I heard a Physician (MD) state on a television program that Oily foods (foods that are prepared by frying in Oils) cause depression in people, and depression in some people can make them do weird things.

So may be if his deit is changed to baked foods, fresh fruits and vegetables with seeds and nuts, avoiding red meats, it may help him think clearly, and it may be worth saving the family! it will certainly do no harm.

Re: I don't feel like there is any other way out.

Had it been happening in pakistan, it would be nazar/kala jadoo etc and the biradari will be helping the family out by bringing him to alims/peer etc . Likely they are believing its the family fault for making him like this since its not

Just a thought, he might have schizophernia, but then I might be wrong as I have not read your past threads

Having the social service helping out will be quick but short term solution as they are likely to seperate/break up the family

He needs help not ending up being alone eventually

Depressed and now emotionally unstable

Is there anyone particular whom he is close with and is not from the family/extended family? like work colleague/neighbour or childhood friend from pak or uk on whom you can get in touch with?

If there is , try talking and have them make him go to hospital, maybe using the excuse of blood test/ health check up etc to get referred to psychological ward to get treated ... maybe that will help
