I hear it a lot from people around me. There is a thread right now on GS in which someone is ranting how some of her friends disappointed her.
Truth of the matter is that everybody complains that they do not have good friends but they themselves do not want to be good friends.
If you want the people to be your good friend be a good friend. Real good friends are those who are there for you when you need them but they do not expect anything in return.
Try to be a good friend and you will be surrounded by bunch of good friends.
