If he did not order it then we need to applaud someone else for making such a great decision which those violent lunatics deserved so much.

While I agree with you that the idiots in lal masjid should have been tackled, but the ensuing events have proved that the handling was not right. The operation there helped the militants create a narrative. We can see that the response of saudis to the grand mosque seizure gave rise to alqaeda and Pakistani reaponse to lal masjid gave rise to TTP.
