Let’s say you bought 40% glycolic (or lactic or whatever) peel. After doing 1 or 2 or 3 peels…you see that your skin handles it very well, and you feel that you want to move it up to the “next level”. Well, you can purchase a higher % but what will you do with the 40% that’s left? In a situation like this, instead of spending money to buy a higher %, layering is another way to make that 40% stronger.
