I think you need a design with more of a pattern and that shows more skin.

well... :D good question.. It is said.. one who gets the dark henna color is the one... whom her hubby loves sooooooo much :D

still............ I don't know how far is it true..but yes.. seriously.. when "I" apply henna to myself or to ANYONE.. the result is always dark..
I remember, once I applied it to one of my friends on her engagement and she pointed out a particular part of skin, saying.."yaar yahan zada dark color nahin aata" and I said, Don't you worry.. MAIN laga rahi huun naa.. ajayega.. a cousin of her was sitting next to her and my friend then said.. Naheen is se pooch lo.. batao kiya maira color dark aata hay?" and she said... nahin.. nahin aata.. I just smiled and said, kal tak dekh lete hain... and you can't believe, when I visited her, she shouted out loud....... YAAAAAAAAAR kitna gehra color aaya hayyyyyyyyyyyyy :D
