I am sure they are killing cricket..

What a hell it is ?

Now we have 15 over restriction, substitution and all kinds of prostitution in cricket…

These ICC morons are kust killing cricket…They are `foot-ballising’cricket.These laws would have been interesting had they been applied only with some 20-20 matches.

Do u really like these laws?(Anyway,I am not at all a conservative, but looking at these laws,I feel these laws will kill the game forever…)

Re: I am sure they are killing cricket..

these laws have been discussed and some think of them as interesting and some don't like'em. games evolve to make'em more interesting, hard for older followers to catchup with the changes being made hence the 'dislike' factor (but not true for all).

Re: I am sure they are killing cricket..

Same was said for ODI's in early70's when it was introduced.

Re: I am sure they are killing cricket..

as long as they DONT TOUCH test cricket, all will be good.

Re: I am sure they are killing cricket..

I agree, these new rules are stupid. ICC should spend more time dealing with the current game's problems, like umpiring rather than thinking about more money.

Re: I am sure they are killing cricket..

Actually it'd be good if they stop 5 day tests and bring it to 3 days max. 99% of test matches are boring and just opportunity for bad players to establish useless records. For every one Aussie England match such as the last 3, yoy get a 100 useless matches where somebody plays for 3 days to hit 100 runs, somebody bowls 50 overs for no wicket and everybody starts playing for a draw from day 2.

^^

Here comes umar shareef part 2:smack2:

Re: I am sure they are killing cricket..

Bro...if there were 3 day tests...then there would be only be draws except in games against India and Zimbabwe...not a good idea...

Re: I am sure they are killing cricket..

dont watch it. Simple.

Re: I am sure they are killing cricket..

these changes are excellent. i feel they should have gone in for more changes too. for example, like in football we could have a line up of 15 men and substitutions could be made among them. the total men in the game would still be 11 per side but we could have 15 to choose from, so if one or two is havin a bad day, they could be replaced with some one else.
the goal is to make the game exciting. cricket is far too long for anyone outside the sub continent to really love. see how it is dying in the carribean islands. the 20 20 is a good concept too although i think a 25 25 would be better so that the bowlers can have a bit more to do.

Re: I am sure they are killing cricket..

In recent history 5 day test matches too have started becoming nail biting. If it isnt the excitement that kills you then it'd be the anticipation that will. :)
