I know all of you want to say “Tell us something new”
Well, I proved it to myself today :roman: I was at best buy when a lady called me on my cell and said I cam bla bla bla calling from FEMA. I am calling to let you know that the assistance program is about to end. I said I never got any assistance to start with She’s like okay, well this was just a courtsey call. Can you verify your address and last 4 digits of social security number…and I was stupid enough to give her the info After I hung up, I realized what if she wasn’t with FEMA? What if she’s one of those people who hijack your identity and ruin your credit? I should’ve asked HER to tell me my SSN and I’ll say Yes/No but oh well…
Last time when someone called me like that, I remembered to ask them to say it and I'll say yes or no.....cuz you never know who's on the other side :(
LDH khush ho jaao, mein jawab mein nahi maaroonga :(
could be someone who is just playing a prank on you.
A friend sent me an email (I think I read it as a joke somewhere too) but he said this happened to him. Someone called him and he responded by telling the girl (it was telemarketer) that she had just called a 7565 whatever FM radio station and she was the 500th caller that day and had won a grand prize of $100000. Then he proceeded to bug her for the next 10 minutes with the speakers ON and everybody in the room listening and laughing. All sorts of questions , Identification, and finally asked her to sing a couple of songs because she was ON AIR. And the girl was so nervous and excited at winning a 100 grand that she bowed to all his requests.
Shikray - keep that in mind and use it on the next telemarketer.
