Today begum asked me to bring paaiey (Goat feet).
When I reached the counter after standing in line for a long time. The man asked me
"How much do you want? " .
And I said “about 2 or 3”
The guy looks at me in the face , obviously thinking that I am stupid
"Are you sure? " - And I said “YES”
“How do you want them? "
And I am like " Huh??? - errr … Just put them in a plastic bag” .
He is obviously getting frustrated by this time
" No - I mean do you want the burnt ones or the white ones with the skin off? "
Now this is toooo much for me - I had no clue what he was talking about
I said can u show me some . And he showed me a white foot (the goats’ not his), it was so small , about 4 or 5 inches long , just like a stick. Thats why he thought I was stupid asking for 2 or 3 of those sticks
And I said " Okay - Give me 3 lbs of these " :halo:
Phewwwww - goosht shopping is so freaking difficult
Grocery shopping is a woman's responsibility. It's optional for mard but a farz for woman. Man can do it if he wants, but the woman forces him, it's haraam!
Didn't you read the fine print when you registered? In case if you didn't it said:
