My excuse is always that I'm traveling. I consider this world to be a temporary place, and I'm just here visiting this earth for about 90-95 years. Once I return to my original place, I'll start fasting.... I promise.

Every Muslim I know, fasts…

And this being the month of Ramadan, when the gates of heaven are opened and Allah :swt: bestows his blessings, how can any Muslim not feel a sense of piety in this month? A loser he is…

There may be many more than u think. They are hardly going to tell you are they. I’m sure my husband doesn’t let on to anyone that hes not fasting. Everyone thinks he is. No valid excuse he just doesnt want to.

I am not a hypocrite. As I do not pray 5 times a day, I believe I should not be fasting either as it would be hypocritical.

(I will start once I have performed hajj at the age of 55)

besides, if I pay for some poor person to have dinner as kaffara, it is better for me and for society.
