I got this one from a girl once: I don't fast because I'm afraid I'll become weak and die.

A lot of teenagers do come up with excuses like: we are having a pizza party in school and it would look bad if I don't eat.

One of my aunts never let her daughters fast saying that if they fast their will be no 'rounaq' on their faces for Eid :D

Beef is the least smelly meat there is. Try adding a little turmeric (haldi in very small amounts) , garlic and ginger (be generous) to your cooking and see how you will start enjoying beef.

How do you roast a salmon. hamare ghar angrez style se salmon roats kiya jata hain. Muze bilkul acchha nahin lagta. Koi desi masala fasala daal nahi sakte?

I’m not fasting today because I dont feel like it. MY heart’s not in it today. I think badthoughts, I don’t pray as much as I should, I don’t read Quran and I listen to music. Some days fasting is just not eating or drinking and to me that’s an empty roza. And then I think, even if youdo every bad thing, you can try your hardest to do one Islamic thing.. one prayer is better than no prayer at all, and is an empty fast better than nofast?

is that an excuse or a confession?

i wish i knew…i got it from the cafe downstairs, they make it fresh everyday and i never tasted salmon roasted so well subtly spiced desi style..
