Atleast you guys go from the US and the UK. Going from damn Afreeka they think we live in the friggin bush, so the questions and comments are of a different variety altogether. I remember once I was 10 yrs old and proceeded to sing the national anthem of Botswana in Tswana for my Khalas - needless to say they were very amused. Thank goodness SA plays cricket though - it helps the image.

I heard Pakistanis don’t think too highly of those residing in Canada either, as many have immigrated from Pakistan to Canada without much difficulty.

Sara, some of the people I know in Pakistan are like that, too. This one Uncle my dad knows talked to me once. He asked me my name and I told him "Fatima"....he goes "oh, laiken aapka Amreekan naam kya hai?"
