GULAB JAMUN.........I beg to DIFFER! I am allergic to this song! I have heard it soooo many times in almost all mehendis..........that it induces a sort of suffocating **feeling in me. Others might enjoy this song, and I have no problem with that. BUT I have **VOWED to myself and I am not KIDDING when i say this.........I have made a SERIOUS MENTAL NOTE TO MYSELF.....that this song WILL NOT play at my mehendi. I don't mind if a group of aunties get together and sing it while beating an oblong desi drum with a spoon..........BUT the actual song itself.....will not play at my wedding.
I will try my BESTEST to AVOID this song. If I have to, I will tell my sister to make sure it's not on the playlist. I will tell my future fiance to make sure it's not on the play list. I will pay the DJ extra to make sure its not in the play list.
THAT is HOW STRONGLYi feel about this song. I'm allergic to it. The OTHER **song that I'm going to try my best to make sure it **DOESN"T play on my mehehndi is "Layja Layja" **from **Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum. It's so rehashed and overdone....that its beginning to produce similar allergic symptoms in me!
You other pick, Ajooba, however is a nice and unique one.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I KNOW!!! I HAVEN"T BEEN TO A SINGLE MEHNDI W/O this song! SO FOR tradition's sake, you have to!!!!! I'll dance to it, if I have to to make you have this song of your mehndi !!!LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
