Oh RedVelvet, that't not at all what I meant !I am all for giving and recieving! I was just stating a personal feeling about flowers! It's just a personal perference and how it came about. Like someone may give you a strawberry cake and you might not like it, but are grateful that they put the thought into it. My parents love growing flowers (they're gardnerers) so they like flowers, as i gave the flower to my mom from me! It's just a personal feeling I have towards flowers.
As for my parents practicallness- I love them for that! Like yesterday my dad said, inshallah when you're done with school I'm going open a flower business just for january and the early part of February and the rest of the year I'll just grow roses! :D It makes you stop thinking about what you're doing and ask yourself "are you just doing this because everyone else is doing it or because it really means something to you."
