Yup. I am a Toyota owner, and all these Mitsubishi owners make me laugh. Can you imagine, they actually have opinions? LOL!!! Every thing about their cars suck, and it’s time they realized it.
My game plan is as follows:
Find old threads on their board and reply to all of them in a very condescending manner.
Act like I am the “Voice of Reason” and intelligence. Everyone else is stupid.
Get into pointless arguments, and never admit my mistake.
I have no business being on that forum since I hate Mitsubishis so much, but I will still spend hours over there dissing people for their choice.
Find even the smallest bad news about Mitsubishi and post it there saying how Toyota would never do that.
Talk about Toyota as if it was sent by God.
If someone asks why I am even on that forum, I will just say that as a car owner, I have a mutual understanding of issues.
Everything about me will be Toyota related, even my username which will be TOYOTAFANBOY3423423
When people reply back to me, I will just claim that they are haters and hate me for my Toyota. I will instead turn around the argument saying that they need to hate on Toyota to justify their purchase of Mitsubishi.
Any achievement by Mitsubishi will be met with an even bigger by Toyota. Doesn’t matter what that achievement is.
To keep with your selected metaphor, may be Mitsubishi owners will surprise you…
may be the members there will tolerate your denigration and instead of responding with vilification, they’ll try to talk to you more sensibly ;
possibly, some of them, especially the administrators on the site will become wary of you, and be more watchful, but not simply bounce you off the site for the smallest indiscretion ;
probably many on the site will just ignore you and not be bothered with your comments – afterall, it’s just an internet forum.
In the end, if you still end up sticking around, it might be you who’d feel like a failure cuz you couldn’t accomplish what you came to that site for – despite your malintentions, you weren’t able to cause disconcert, or unsettle the order of that site… which will be their success as a community… and your failure.
