Attia, Sayyed means Sardar. He is Sardar-ul- Anbiya. He is the leader of all the prophets. Why shouldnot we call him Sayyedna. I love to call him Sayyedna. Is say aik khas mohabbat zahir hoti hai.

OMG why do i feel like u don't know anything about islam?
no one is stopping u to call him that .. but plz try to avoid calling him tat in public... He was a great poet.. we all agree .. he did alot in making pakistan .. we agree. and we really appreciate it as well.. i personnally love his poems but giving him a that khitab is totally not approperiate :)

n Maria I read your post twice n what i understood is that Ur uncle wrote a book against his father ..can I ask why he did that ? I mean what was his reason ..thats soo sad really …but don worry as someone said above that alot of ppl love n respect him and a bad person can not be respected after so many years so dont feel bad :flower2:…

I can understand your hurt. Your uncle is talking about someone who has passed away and cannot defend himself. Pretty sad of him to do that! Hang in there lady! Everyone knows in their heart what is wrong/right and inshallah this sort of allegation won't hurt the stature that Allama Iqbal has achieved.

Yaar, can you tell me ke Sayyedna Noah :as: ka beta unka mazzaq kiyon urata tha? Gali mein khara hokar taliyan baja baja kar awazain kasta tha. Budha, deewana, pagal, sehr zada(enchanted) kehta tha.
