err no man, happened right after 9/11 way before the british paks did anything. The fact that they too went to Pakistan to get training and then did their stupid acts added further fuel to the fire. Was everythign hunky dory for desis in US or euripean airports between 9/11 and 7/7? I think not

You obviosuly dont travel much... This started as far back as 2001-2002 or so, when Pakistan was added to the list of Muslim nations which could potentially produce or harbor terrorists..
things were stricter for pakistanis due to immigration fraud earlier I am talkign 80's. in 90's things got a little tougher after the first WTC attack, for muslims in general, the situation with Kansi further toughened the situation.
The assumption that things for Pakistanis were as easy as dutch or swiss are living in some fantasy world.
