I took oath on Auguest 2nd 2007. It sure has been a long journey. From F1 to PT to H1 to Green Card to Citizenship - a never ending process indeed that started back in 1993. Not that I would give up my origin or Paki Citizenship or anything especially since we are allowed to have dual, but I still found myself a bit emotional and teary on the day of oath.

How did you feel when you got yours?

^ mubarak ho … aaj mai bhee ban gaya citizen, my process started in 1999 March. I had similar feelings as you mentioned, a bit emotional.

We have jobs for both of you in Iraq and Afghanistan. Some bearded people in those countries need some american citizens on urgent basis. No resume required.
