i am hiving I-551 evidence for permanent residence for 1 year i came to usa on june 17 2014 but did not get my green card uptil now 21 august 2014 i called to uscis but they said there was some problem in your address thats why we recieved it back and now we will send you bak in 2 to 3 weeks but still i havenot recieved my green card now, i have my wedding n 3rd week of september 2014 in pak . anybody knows that will there any problem while entering again in usa haivng I 551 from pak and here immigration officers.

we have asked to FIA inspector and he says no you cannot give your entry again to usa, this visa for 1 year is to live in usa while you can get your green card

I think so. As far as I know, you cannot leave US until you get your permanent residency card if you want to come back here. Its best to call immigration services and ask for status or explain to them the situation. Hire a lawyer and maybe they can look into it.

i think you can leave on your Pakistani passport but you can not return to the US unless you have proper documentation.
i also believe that if your application for green card has been approved, you may request a temporary green card/travel document to enable you to return to the US.
