Regular one does not have initial high thyroid hormone production and is more common in older age.
Hashimotos because of inflamation causes high thyroid symptoms and eventually leads to hypothroidism. Regular one may be a form of ‘sub-clinical’ inflammation.
Anyhow, like icono said, it is treated easily and no real side effects of supplement, like synthroid. The medicine needs to be taken regularly every day.
