Funny, we were just discussing this.
I see myself as a Pakistani-American.
If someone asked me, are you American, I would say yes. If they asked me what I am (I hate that question), I would say Pakistani-American.
I would say Pakistani-American because I was born and raised in America, but I also feel a connection to the culture and people of Pakistan. The reason I would say that in the end I'm American is because to me American allows for diversity and acceptance of the Pakistani part of me. Does that make sense?
Happy Independence Day :D
I wish I knew the answer to it.
I'm a Canadian citizen of Pakistani origin. Whenever I'm asked, I usually tell'em I'm from Pakistan.
I tell 'em, I'm from Pakistan, and living in Canada for a while. I also tell them it makes no matter to me or them.
I'd say Brazilian

Haha. Glad I could help.
People tell me to check “white.” I either check “Asian” or “Other.” Now forms include South Asian. But often I leave it blank (unless it’s required).
I write Aryan-Indian-American
