So , most of us believe we clean the kitchen worktop well and the cutting board really well … and inside the fridge well … but is that actually true?
Is a normal wash enough to rid those areas off of the germs?
What do you do to ensure maximum care is taken to clean the worktop, fridge from inside and the cutting board?
Re: Hygiene plus!
I personally pop the cutting board into the dishwasher along with the plates coz I feel thats the best way of cleaning it. On days when I am not running the dishwasher, I just soak it in really boiling water for half hour and then wash it.
For the fridge .. I used to just clean it off with anti bacterial sprays … until I was told that thats not enough to kill the bacteria and germs … so now I occasionally use lemon juice or vinegar … a few drops on the sponge and run it through the fridge .. dunno if that makes any sense
Work top , usual anti bacterial … but then I keep wondering if thats clean enough
..
Re: Hygiene plus!
I use a disinfectant spray like dettol for all surfaces in the kitchen and inside the fridge. I put the chopping board in the dishwasher, and every few of washes I run a hygiene cycle.
