I was wondering how much importance various religions give to personal hygene ?
Religious commands like washing hands before having meals, brushing teeth five times a day, washing uncovered body parts five times a day, keeping cloths clean from various impurities, using water as a cleaning agent in toilets are few of the most stressed aspects of personal hygene ordered for muslims to observe religiously.
Cleanliness is most important aspect of Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) personal life (all made public by his followers)
As one famous saying of his
‘Cleanliness constitute half part of faith’
