My scars weren’t deep but I just had a lot of them. If I remember right, I used it for a little over 2 months. After that I started using Retin A and doing the peels. Lactic Acid will also help even out skintone.
Whether or not you use it for 4 months is upto you. I know I didn’t use it for that long and from the research I’ve done, most people who’ve used it safely don’t use it for that long either. Only you can decide how big of a risk you want to take with your skin.
And yes, once you stop, you need to stop COMPLETELY. Personally, I would then take a break from using it for at least 10 months. As I said earlier, only you can choose how big of a risk you want to take.
