DOES ANYONE KNOW OR HAVE A PICTURE OF A KHARA DUPPATTA…I HAVE TRIED THE USUAL searches but didnt get the photos…I would really appreciate your help :slight_smile:

I hope this help and i will see if i can find a picture.
How to wear a Khara Dupatta

  • Tuck the very top part of the middle of the dupatta into the back of the chooridaar.
  • Make accordion pleats with both ends of the dupatta.
  • Adjust both sides of the dupatta on the left shoulder.
  • Keep them in place with a brooch. *]Bring the free ends of the dupatta under the right shoulder and over the inside of the right elbow.

i think it’s a pain to wear though.. and once you wear it, you can totally forget about any restroom breaks.. the whole thing has to be taken apart :smack:

if u live in karachi know this place on tariq road the guy used to be a kargai for bunto but he left her and opened his own shop n he made kharra duputtas for my cousins n they were amazing!!! ill post pics

I like the colors! These are pretty too, but I saw a real Bunto khara dupatta once and there is no comparison…the bride wore it for her mehndi and she looked simply stunning. Before that, I didnt even realize Bunto made khara dupattas! I think her shaadi pics have been posted here before, but I dont want to post her mehndi pic without permission.
