Hussain(as) Guarding The Shariat

(And we will definitely test you with fear, and hunger and with loss of wealth, life and fruits and give good news to those who bore forbearance) AlBaqarah-155

It is a common practice that every beloved tests his “Habib” and this difficulty & test (Al-Bala-o-Lil wala) is based on the capacity of love but the question is that why Almighty Allah who is Aalem ul-Ghaib Wa Al-Shahadah and Knowledgeable puts his men to test because one who does not know inside and outside, and unaware of facts is in need to test. Actually the difficulty & test is not given so that the examiner could know about the candidate’s capacity but sometime to make a substandard person feel what his personality lacks and disseminate the perfection of the perfect person throughout the universe. The test taken by Allah is based on these two points. The Ayah given above counted some difficulties and none of the Khasaan-e-Khuda gone through fear, terror, hunger, thirst, lack of resources, manpower and fruitfulness one after the other. He may has been tested for the same one by one, two or three at a time because that much forbearance at a single time is felt a heavy burden on the human nature and to keep patience in a hard time, for a man is not a an easy task.

1.1 The test from Allah
Hussain (A.S.) is the only personality who has given all five tests at a time. One being the fear of enemy and the biggest of all fears for a Muslim Momin is destruction of Deen-o-Shariat; the second test is that of hunger, and thirst is included in hunger, everyone could understand what one feels when he is confronted with hunger and thirst and imagine when one has to undergo the test of lives and fruitfs (offsprings), how tough this test would be, particularly in the circumstances when the well armed enemy is spread all around surrounding a few Tauheed-lovers, the bodies of Mujahideen coming down on earth one by one, that too in a critical situation when the sun is shining in its full capacity, earth was boiling with full force and the persons undergoing the test are hungry and thirsty, the enemy is ready to loot them and he is also afraid of losing dignity and honour.

Throw a look on the whole universe to find how many people you could find who can undergo patience, who are standing tall during such gory incidents. It was only Hussain ibne Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.), Hussain (A.S.) the Holy Prophet (SAW) used to kiss him taking him into his lap and used to said: My Hussain (A.S.) would undergo a big test, the bloody oppressive people of Banu Ummayad would kill my son, I will not protect them on the day of judgement. Hussain (A.S.) the Holy Prophet (SAW) use to love him most and had said: Hussain-o-Minni Wa Ana Minal Hussain (Hussain is from me and me from Hussain). One who keeps friend with Hassan (A.S.) and Hussain (A.S.) is my friend and who keeps enmity with them is my enemy. Hussain ibne Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) underwent all these problems and tests of the time so as to keep righteousness away from evil, to achieve supremacy of Islam. For that reason the Islam is imbibed with the blessings showered on it by Imam Hussain (A.S.).

The Islamic history stands witness that after only 50 years of the passing away of the Holy Prophet (SAW) Islam had to undergo such a great test of time that is difficult to describe. Halal-e-Muhammad were being termed Haram, and the Haram-e-Muhammad as Halal. It was 60th year of the Hijra calendar when Yazid (L.A.) took the reigns of Khilafat. No one could understand the philosophy that under which of the recognised laws in force Yazid took over the reigns of power: he was far away from the teachings of Quran and Sunnat; there was no Ijma’ah-e-Ummat on his induction; there was no “will” in his favour; no committee was formed as Shoora. These were the only methods that lead to recognition of a Khalifa-tul-Muslimeen. How he became Khalifa-tul-Muslimeen when none of the methods was adopted for this purpose? The Islamic historians unanimously agree that he was a sinful and lewd man who was unaware of Islamic commandments, who considered “Wahi” as a drama on the part of Bani Hashim, Nazool-e-Malaika a fake story, who did not consider Halal as Halal and Haram as Haram, who had no fear of Allah, no respect for the Holy Prophet (SAW), was the complete symbol of evil, who considered avoidables in Shariat as his right.

Just imagine how precarious this situation was for Islam. Had this situation remained the same then there would have been no sign of religion of Islam today and no one would have been there to take care of Islam. It seemed that Islam was raising its voice for help. At that time only and only Nawasa-e-Rasool, Shahzada-e-Konain Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) stood up to this voice for help. Hussain (A.S.) made a promise to Islam that he would help and extend support to it till the last drop of blood is running in his veins would bear the brunt of fear, terror, hunger, loss of wealth, life, fruits and everything but would not let it undergo any humiliation or disrespect. He stood up with full protocol to confront materialism with spiritualism, stood up to confront Zulm-o-Istabdad and Mazloomiyyat, to defeat oppression through patience and declared upon the world how to crush Jabr-o-Istabdad, how to live an eternal life after death, and how to reject power with the help of righteousness. Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.) said to his Creator:

“Oh God, I have left the world in Your love, am ready to make my children orphans in Your love, my heart could not divert towards anyone but You, even if You cut my body into pieces in Your love.”

Hussain (A.S.) had such type of great weapons that no dictator, tyrant or Taghoot could tackle. These were hunger, thirst, fear of no one but Allah, no concern on lack of wealth, readiness to offer sacrifice of lives, sacrificing the most liked offspring, strong will and decision-making power, stability, power of faith and Imaan, keeping the self-respect, faith and confidence in God and complete respect of Islamic principle. Hussain ibne Ali (A.S.) came in the battlefield armed with all these armouries. On one side was an army comprising lakhs of enemies while there were a few hungry and thirsty people who were the symbol of piousness, good deeds, and Imaan-o-Iqaan. The world saw that Yazid was laced with everything while Hussain (A.S.) was alone but even this Hussain (A.S.) emerged victorious. No one from the Hussaini camp joined Yazidi forces while from Yazidi camp some personalities came to join Hussaini forces rejecting everything on earth, giving up even the tribal leadership, spitting on awards and prizes and preferred to accept to be a slave of Hussain (A.S.) considering life worthless against death because success & failure, win & defeat does not mean that a person remains alive killing his enemy but success & win is the name of keeping the target & objective alive either the person remains alive or not. The world is witness that Yazid (L.A.) wiped out even by remaining alive while Hussain (A.S.) achieved eternal life even being killed, even the Hussaini objective is alive. His greatest objective was to achieve the supremacy of Islam, crush Zulm-o-Sitam that was being followed since centuries.

Today, millions of people were the torch-bearers of Hussaini objective while the Yazidi objective has died its own death because it was not only the murder of Hussain (A.S.) and his companions but to wipe out the long-lived teachings of Islam and the Paighambar-e-Islam but Hussain (A.S.) thwarted this objective because God himself is the defender of religion of Islam, holy Quran and teachings of His prophets (Inna Nahnu Nazzalna Zikra Wa Inna Lahu La Hafizoon). Hussain (A.S.) was the Waris-e-Anbia, symbol of all qualities of Anbia. The oppressive forces always remained in conflict with Khasaan-e-Khuda, arresting them and sending them in exile but they could not succeeded in their nefarious designs and got disgrace and Imam Hussain (A.S.) was the inheritor and spokesman of these Khasaan-e-Khuda and his success eventually was the success of Anbia. What more clearer could a success be that Hussain (A.S.) rules the hearts of those who love humanity and today the top world leaders and kings feel honoured in bowing down their heads on the holy Mazars of Hussain (A.S.) and his companions. The angels take off in their holy shrines while reciting Darood, Zaireen visit their holy graves and worship of God is going on day and night at these places. The world goes aesthetic listening the name of Hussain (A.S.) and homage is paid to him in every nook and corner of the world every year in Muharram. The education of Tauheed, Nabuwwat and Walayat are not commensurate with Zikr-e-Hussain. The blood of Hussain (A.S.) is running down the veins of Islam and Shariat-e-Paighambar. No power on earth could separate Hussain (A.S.) from Islam, and Islam from Hussain (A.S.).

Imam Hussain (A.S.) said on the day of Ashoora that a human being is the slave of this world and the one who gives lip-service to the religion, he surrounds around the religion unless any harm is caused to him from the religion but one could find only a few Deendars at the stage of difficulty & test. The Imam told his son, Hazrat Zainul Abideen (A.S.) that one should avoid oppressive attitude against the one who looks towards Allah only for help. Those who sacrifice Hereafter on this world are the worst persons, those who worship God do not worship anyone else, whatever my brother Imam Hassan (A.S.) did in his life, means sulah given to me (truce) was the commandment of Allah and whatever is being done by me (Marka-e-Karbala) is also a commandment of Allah.

Hussain ibne Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) bore difficulties and problems while supporting Deen-e-Haq and emerged successful in all tests of the time. The biggest problem in it was that he had to leave his beloved city of Madinah, alighted from the mausoleum of his father Ali (A.S.), pious grave of his mother, and that of his brother Hassan (A.S.). One could not imagine this grief that was faced by Hussain (A.S.). Had Hussain (A.S.) remained in Madinah. He would had been martyred in Madinah it would have spoiled the dignity and respect of Haram-e-Rasool. Therefore, he did not like it and gave a lesson to the Ummat of his grandfather that respect to Sha’air Allah is a part of Taqwa. The second problem he faced was that he changed the intention of Haj into Umrah, saying good-bye to Makkah. There too he kept the dignity and respect of the Makkah in mind that speaks of his wisdom. By sending his ambassador Muslim bin Aqeel giving him clear-cut instruction making it clear that how important the guidance is for Makhlooq-e-Khuda, he provided water to the thirsty forces of Lashkar-e-Hur giving a lesson of sacrifice example of which is not available throughout the human history, putting his tents on the bank of Euphrates and then removing the same on the enemy’s insistence declaring the world that we do not initiate war and are not aggressive. By doing so he preached the lesson of patience and forbearance to Muslims. Thus fulfilling all tests of the time as mentioned in the Ayah above and not uttering a single word against it, following the desires of Allah with patience and this was the victory achieved by Hussain (A.S.).

Today, Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan is actively fulfilling the great objectives and targets of Hussain (A.S.), respect of Sha’air Allah is its Imaan, preaching of religion and Shariat its Iqaan, guidance of Makhlooq-e-Khuda prime objective, it considers it an honour in expressing hatred against oppression and the oppressor, love for the oppressed and the poor and extending help to them, survival of the motherland, and welfare of the people. In addition, it considers Wila and Aza as its worship. On the day of Ashoora, we reiterate that priority will be given to the Hussaini objective over all other things and we would not hesitate in offering any sacrifice while following in the foot-steps of Hussain (A.S.) because the path of Hussain (A.S.) is the source of survival. No dictator or tyrant ruler could remove a person from his way or make him bow down before him if he follows the path of Hussain (A.S.) because:

Dars Kerbala ka hae---Khauf bas Khuda ka hae
(Kerbala is our institute and we are only afraid of Allah)

Thanks :flower1:
