Ek pash-ee-man sii husrat se mujhe sochta hai

Ab wohi sheher mohabbat se mujhe sochta hai

Main tu mehdood se lamhoo main mili thee us se

Phir bhi wo kitni wazahat se mujhe sochta hai

Jis nay socha hi na tha hijer ka mumkin hona

Dukh main doobi howi hayrat se mujhe sochta hai

Main tu mar jaoon ager sochnay lag jaoon ussay

Aur wo kitni soholat se mujhe sochta hai

Gerchay ab tark-e-marasim ko bohat dar howi

Ab bhi wo meri iijazat se mujhe sochta hai

Kitna khus feham hai wo shakhs keh her mausam main

Ek naiy rukh nai soorat se mujhe sochta hai
