husband must be selfless in jointly raising their children with his wife and vice-versa is the key to a successful and a happy marriage.

waiting for others to come along. It is true I saw a completely different side of husband as a father, but I have been more amazed at how much different I am as a mom!

^ to add to seeing a completely different side. I don’t have any kids right now except the one on the way iA, but I got a glimpse of my husband’s soft side once. We were out buying groceries and this cute little toddler (2 years old maybe) came in where both of us were standing and shyly picked up yogurt. I looked at my husband’s expression and I have never seen that "soft " side of his before. Now can’t wait for my little girl inshallah :).

I don’t know. I think everyone changes naturally when a child is in the picture. I don’t think I was unaware of my husbands fondness of children, but I was pleasantly surprised by the insane increase in his love and care for me as his childs mother.

I love my husband so much more after he became a daddy. Ma sha allah he is a great father.
