whats the ideal age difference? aside from love has no boundaries…![]()
i always wanted to (and still want to) marry someone of my age.. not 5 yr younger then me nor 5 yr older then me.. .. just my own preference.
This topic has been already discussed numerous times but here’s the most recent thread you can check out : age difference
If you are 30 she should be two-three years eitherway. If you are 50 then she should be no older than 25.
If you live on a farm then check out my signature. :)
age difference is meaningless.
US Senator Strong Thurman died at the solid age of 100.
He was 46 when he married a 22 yr old blonde.
He lived with her for 20 years before he re-married at 66 with another 22 year old Miss North Carolina (they say thats really when the North was succeeded) and had FOUR children with her.
Just like the size, age doesn't matter either.

Male should be atleast 5-7 yrs elder than Female.
If the Male age is e.g 35 then 10 Yr diff is also not bad... he can marry 25 yr of Female.
Now The Reason....
Physiacally... The Life of Male is Longer than Female. I am not talking about the age here.
In a Bit Clear words .....
Male have not age limits of Sexual activities and Female has. So If a Male marry a female of his age or elder one... Female cannot fulfil the demands from Male physically.
So... Age difference is Important.
But offcourse it should not be that much to clash in the Generation Gap.
I have explained it in as soft words as I could.**:)

i think this is really good answer to this question
Best Regards
My question to Golden Scorpion would be what about the fact that women live longer than men, an average of 5 years longer?
Another question is, is "the act" that important in later age?
And finally, what about the recent discovery that men also have a biological clock, similar to women?
As per the age difference, I will probably marry someone younger than me or my age, so to me thats a good age difference for myself, but to each his own, I dont believe there is a "perfect" age difference. smile
5 years for first wife and then increment it by 10 years for each subsequent wives. Let me illustrate it in numbers:
Guy 25 1st Wife 20
Guy 40 2nd Wife 25
Guy 55 3rd Wife 30
So on and so forth :)
thanx..whatll GS do without u??? the most enlightening response on this topic(no jk)
man some of these "marriage" questions are soo dumb. I mean marry who YOU want, who cares about age, looks, culture, money, or anything else.
MARRY WHO YOU WANT!
^^^ stop undermining my authority
i personally prefer an age difference of 4-5 years....
i believe there shouldn't be a big age-gap between a couple, around the world we see ppl are marrying ppl and having intimate relationships with ppl half their age, and that's down rite pathetic, morally wrong as well as ridiculous, i don't believe in the statements like "love has no boundries/love is blind etc" there are certain limits that shouldn't be reached or presumed but the reality is that it happens all the time, set boundaries are easily made and easily broken.
it is a accepted belief among many ppl that It is better for the age of the spouses to be close while the age of the man should be greater.

Hazrat Muhammed:saw: was 25 and Hazrat Khadija :RA: was 40 years old when they both got married…
so long as the age diference is no more than abt 12 years i think its ok
read my response again i said ppl half there age, so 1stly hazrat mohammed :saw: and hazrat khadija
weren’t half each others age, and secondly there is always an exception regarding prophet mohammed :saw: after all he is blessed and special he thinks rite and he does rite, so we shouldn’t be questioning at all why prophet mohammed :saw: did this did that…
Well I wasn’t questioning what Hazrat Muhammed :saw: did but questioning what you said that there shouldn’t be big age-gap between a couple and it’s “pathetic, morally wrong as well as ridiculous” that’s why I pointed it out and to me, there’s nothing wrong if someone marries a person who is quite older in age. It depends on one’s maturity level and understanding not the age. I think Prophet :saw:'s set a good example and yes, it is possible for us to do the same and there’s nothing pathetic or rediculous about it in my opinion…![]()
^^ we live in an opinionated society, it isn't a huge surprise then for me 2 see that i'm forseeing constant disagreements arising
