What irks me the most is spouses and in-laws placing restrictions on one from visiting their family. Irks is putting it mildly; it really pisses me off.

Same here. Like how can you stop someone from seeing loves ones? You dont own your wives/daughter in laws/sister in laws. Jeeze…
