Question for women with babies: Did your husband change with you after your baby was born? Do you miss the “old days” before kids?

If he changes opposite to the way DC changed, then act normal and secretly torture him ... like get him to change the nappies or something

I'm pregnant with our second child and OMG, MashaAllah he's being soooo attentive and caring, I'm still in shock over his behavior...... its just amazing.

He became more domesticated and careful.

He is really helpful with the baby but much much less help around the house now :bummer: There have been times where both of us feel like the other has changed but its the added responsibility of being a parent.

oh and I have stopped taking too many risk both financial and with life (no more sky diving) ...

I do not protect my wife as much as now I count her as part of the protector group, not the protected group

I would like to know if your feelings towards her changed? Everyone knows behavior changes. But did you feel more love towards her after she had your kids?

Yes he has changed..
Romantically, he tends to be less affectionate now then before Iman was born.. now it all goes to her :(..
maturity wise he has gotten much better and has taken life very seriously.
Socially he has become much more adaptive to his surrouding so overall yes hubbs has changed some for good and other for not soo good :(

Love is like a soft mattress. You enjoy the softness for first hour or two, acknowledge the comfort again and again, but after sometime, you get used to that and stop talking about it too much. That does not mean its not there anymore.
