Re: Hurting Someone
I don't get ticked off that easily but if I do then I try not to say anything to the person at a time and try to avoid that person. But if I am unable to avoid the person then stupid tears float in my eyes just b/c I am holding my temper to myself. Its tough I tell you but then at a same time it makes the other person realize his/her mistake.
Re: Hurting Someone
impulse he truly love u thats why he didn’t said anything in return to make things worse. u should think twice b4 u take ur anger out on him / anyone. its not like every1 will stay quiet with tears in their eyes. if some1 said something in return then why will u do? thats why they say hosh se kaam lo, josh se nahin.
deewanay mastanay…i like edit button. its soo cute :halo:
Re: Hurting Someone
impulse before u have an encounter with someone try judging yourself whether u r angry or not. if u decide that u are then its better not to talk to them till u r calmed down.
if i get angry i just walk away without arguing because i can say some pretty mean things that i regret later on. walking away also pisses people off but not as much as my words would. usually im normal the next day...
Re: Hurting Someone
Impulse....try this next time you are upset. Sit down and drink a cold glass of water.
Re: Hurting Someone
if cold glass of water not enough then jump into a cold tub of water. sari aaker-foon nikal jaye ge aur sath mein [ghusa+u] bhi thundi ho jai’n ge Qulfi ki terhan. :k: ![]()

Oh poor boy.
Re: Hurting Someone
My observation about people having horrible tempers is that they usuallu hurt themselves as well as who happen to be close to them like siblings/parents/spouses/children.
Best thing for them is to get professional help for anger&anxiety management.
Re: Hurting Someone
I so agree with you!! I had a “friend” who did that to me constantly!! Made me feel like sh*t because my life just wasnt exciting enough for her or because I didnt do or act the way she thought I should.
You can only take so much to a point. After a while it gets so hurtful that you dont even want to be around that person any more than you have to.

er, girls, if you can't play nice then don't play at all.
Stop making personal attacks and dragging in personal stuff into this thread.
Thanks.
Re: Hurting Someone
This might not be relevant to you because you're a women, but it really worked for me.
About 5 years ago i got a punchbag (im not saying get a punchbag, just bear with me!). One day i had a really heated argument with my parents. Now usually i would just scream at them, saying things i would regret and leave the house. If i didnt let the anger out in that way it would just build up and make me feel ****ty for a long time.
But this time i decided to go to my room. When i got there i just lost it and went crazy on my punchbag until i couldnt breath. When i got my breath back i realised that i was feeling sooooo much better and really calm. I even went down and apologised to my parents, who were stunned.
Anger cannot be surpressed and has to be let out. Drinking a glass of water is good advice but it doesnt get rid of the physical rage your body feels.
If it is possible for you, the next time you feel angry/upset try to get physical with something, a pillow or a duvet, or even just scream all your bad thoughts into a pillow, and see how you feel after that.
Just remember to stop what you are doing as soon as you feel angry, even if you are in the middle of a phone call. Anger clouds your judgement and causes you to act hastily.
Re: Hurting Someone
I think you're my opposite. Cause when I get mad I just shut down. So therefore I never say hurtful things. I just shut down and think about things. Until I cool down and think of a solution to the problem. So I guess my advice is to give yourself a timeout or think of a way to calm yourself. It sounds like you need to bite your tongue because it has a life of it's own without your brain. Make your brain the boss.
