No offense buddy but this istikhara is not the right way to go about because if a tasbih has odd number of beads then the answer would be one (either just yes or a no) no matter what you ask for etc...and same if the tasbih has even numbers the answers are the same no matter what you ask for...
Lol no buddy i didnt mind,but the point is,main thing is belief.if you have firm belief that allah mia will guide you the right way then you will do a istekhara.And to correct you this is the simplest way of doing istekhara which is CORRECT in its manner.
there is no sense of tasbih with odd or even number,you have to close your eyes and pick a DANA,beliving that allah mia will guide you the right way.
And if you dont have this belief, i think you should not do anykind of istekhra.

If you chose the first bead from the tasbeeh...and if the tasbeeh has odd number of beads it automatically becomes even after the first 1st bead you choose...and if the tasbeeh has a even number of beads then after choosing the first bead its becomes odd numbered and then in the end you have a bead left which means yes...as you said...so that's my concern its not that i don't believe in istikharas or anything...but if you meant that one can chose the first bead from anywhere and then start counting 2 beads from there onwards then i can understand what you mean...otherwise i stick to what i said its not correct...

I agree. it's a misconception that you'll necessarily have a dream after istikhara. the point is that you are asking for guidance and help.. it's important to understand what the dua of istikhara means, it's very simple and very humble.. just praying that if the issue at hand is beneficial, then make it easy for me.. if not, then make me successful otherwise and make me patient and able to accept it.
don't focus on dreams or beads or whatever. the point is you're making a dua. :) as for the formalities of how best to do it, we have that with the 2 rakat and then durood + dua + durood.
