You know it’s easier said than done when we say that at least we have our lives. True but it’s only natural to feel depressed about not being in control of your life during times like these. Some people lose everything they’ve got and it hurts. What is more annoying is the uncertainty. You don’t know when you’re going to get power, how dirty the water is, your connectivity is unpredictable, and soon it all affects your general attitude and wellbeing. All I can say it, prayers for everyone going through it in whatever intensity, and that may you all get back to your normal lives as soon as possible. Be safe.

Damage estimates might be a staggering 50 billion. That is devastating, the pictures are even more shocking...it just goes to show how SMALL we are as humans and how powerful God is.

the storm was HYPED in CANADA...luckily, it all fizzled out...we get windier and receive more rain during an average storm. Environment Canada always scares the hell out of people. i hate Environment Canada.

hahahaha...true! All Canadians seem to be in 'LOVE' with this governmental agency but NOT me! i make my own forecasts which are usually on the 'DOT"...like 1 in 100! i'm still better than Environment Canada! :D

Same here! Lost power at 7pm on the 29th ... still not back yet. People have been saying it will take at least a week for us to get our power back ...

We're in Philadelphia at our relatives place. But it's getting harder! I really want my life back. I wanna go back home.
5 days and no sign of getting our power back. Our electric supply center was flooded ... people are saying it'll take another few days for us to get our power back. Went back home yesterday and had to throw out almost everything from the fridge. To top it all my kid is sick! Has a fever and is overall just so cranky. She got so happy when we went back home yesterday. Went straight to her bed and fell asleep lol. I felt so bad having to pick her up and put her back in the car. :(

Pray for us!!!!
