Btw, Royal is on Bissonnett and Kirkwood…we usually go to the Masjid on swfrwy near Hilcroft…Reliant is kinda far, and no one in my house ever wants to go all that way and then it’s sooo crowded…welcome to the bayou city

^ Are you talking about Madrassah Islamiyah? The one by carmax and target? On bentliff? That’s where we go for taraveeh if that’s the one you’re talking about. I thought Eid would be in one big place like it used to be in New Orleans, but I guess since there are many more Muslims in Houston, it would be in different places. If it is in different places, I guess we will go to Madrassah Islamiyah where we usually go. Thanks for welcoming me If you do see me on Eid, wave cuz you’ll recognize me

Yeah, that’s the one near Carmax (wasn’t sure wot it was called)…And as far as i know, i think most Masjids in Houston do the Eid Namaz…i did go to the stadium one a couple of times, when we were new here but now we go somewhere local…let’s see where we go this time, and if u do see me then u’ll know it’s me cos i’ll be the crazy one

Its very sad. Hurricane wiped out houses of most of my friends. Baton Rouge is overloaded with the relief work. the number of people doubled overnite and the traffic is a big mess.
I didnt get chance to visite NO after the hurricane but i visited cameron, st bernard parish etc and what i saw cant be described in words.
I am glad you are safe shikra. i know it is very late to offer a helping hand but if you need any help then you know what to do.

KRD Most likely we’ll go to Madrassah Islamiyah. You don’t go there for taraveeh, do you? I used to go during early ramadan as I used to come home on time but I am not going these days as I come home very tired from work and most of the times I come home late. But yeah, you should be able to recognize me although I look different than my pics in real (that’s what people tell me). I look ok in the pictures because of camera

Kakey St. Bernard got hit pretty bad. I live in Kenner and Kenner shouldn’t have flooded but it did, you know why? Becuase Mr. moron President of our parish told the pumping station crew to go to St. Bernard and work on those pumping stations. They said if they go, they’ll have to shut down the pumping stations in Kenner and Kenner will be flooded. We know St. Bernard is going to be flooded no matter how many pumping stations we turn on. He said do it, turn off the pumps in Kenner and go to St. Bernard. And guess what? Kenner tou dooba hi dooba, they couldn’t save St. Bernard either. Idiots. Thanks for offering help. But we are in Houston and Allah ka shukar hai. I do go to New Orleans every now and then to check the progress of our house and to take care of other business.

i think it will be relient o gorge convenional center but u will big time traffic i mean 2 hours easily to get there .
royal is on kirkwood and bissonet , don’t worry i give u a call by sunday

People meet each other every now and then. I’ve met more than 35 guppies. Nazi83, Lalas, Insan are from houston and I’ve met them more than 3 times.
