But what about the God fearing people of Gulf Port and Alabama? I can't seem to get in touch with a friend who has a river front property on Mobile Bay. I am sure it's flooded but I hope he isn't there.

I actually live in the backwoods of Alabama (who would have guessed?), far enough away from the coast, and far enough east to have missed out on the worst of it - only 60 mph winds and no flooding - just squalls. But family and friends in Mobile were not so lucky, they bore the brunt and have extensive flooding.
