Yeah, they keep changing the dates but we have already been there.
We went back to our house to see the damage on Sunday. The water level wasn't as high in our area as it was in downtown (what you saw on the news). However, everything that was on the floor was damaged up to about 2 feet. That includes walls, fridge, tv entertainment center, books, computer desk, sofas, carpet, beds, and almost all the electronics etc. Our neighbour's big tree had fallen on the store room in our backyard but that room isn't connected to the house. There was still water in one of the rooms. When you step on the carpet, the water comes out of it around your feet. But I am still glad that we are safe and the damage wasn't as much as compared to other people who do not have a house on their property anymore.
