Re: Hurling Obscenities to Make a Point
I will just copy paste my blog entry here as it is on topic.
Swearing or calling someone bad names to make a point, it does not lead to anywhere. It does help with one thing. It helps with mental peace and self satisfaction. Lets say you are really pissed off at someone and you do not know what to do. It is the bang your head in to the wall kind of situation. You will say what the *, ass ole, * you, *****, and so many other words. Ghussa thanda hogaya but now what? It is not going to affect the person you are saying this to.
I am not going to be all avengilical and say I do not swear. I do. Sometimes when I am highly infuriarated. I actually do feel better when I swear. I mostly swear in Punjabi though.
You only loose respect in the person eyes if you do swear. It does not lead to anywhere. Maybe if you are in a habit or highly mad then you do swear but swearing all the time and being a ***** is not a good thing.
