im almost 35 weeks… and over the past few days… I feel like I cannot seem to eat anything. I am hungry, but the bubba wont let me take anything in.
I am feeling exhausted, nauseaus and just yuck… and yes, ive spoken to the midwife.. she thinks this is completely normal. But, is there anything I can do to feel… semi-decent?
njgal... i think thats the first time in the entire pregnancy i was like on coke.. it wasnt as if i was craving it, i was just immensely thirsty so was gulping down coke and water the entire day...
Sahar, could my iron being low be causing it? I hadnt been taking my iron supplements for a few days (ran out of the tablets)
I think I just need to succumb to the fact that bubba has left no room inside to take in food...
Not that it's of any help, but I had the same issue this pregnancy. Couldn't eat much, and pretty much survived on fruit. I actually didn't have much of an appetite. I still have the same issue 6 weeks PP.
I have small bursts of feeling very hungry... and the husband gets so happy when i do have those moments... but other than that, its just been extremely small meals...
give me carrots and cuccumbers... and i'll be happy..
It's the baby taking up space, Im the same, I just drink milk but that fills me up so I can't eat meals... :-( force some toast down you... Carbs carbs carbs ...

it very much could be like that. at least this is what drs seem to guess. my doctor also had my hb checked this visit to make it sure if my iron levels are intact. but well they are. and my appetite is still down the drain.

i really wonder how. from what i have heard is like the bigger the baby grows the more it wants the mom to take.
i couldn't eat very much towards the end either. your stomach and other bits get pushed aside as the baby grows- i mean, come on, even taking a deep breath was hard, so eating was very secondary at that point!
you'll be fine :) eat what you can, when you can. if your doctor isn't concerned, i wouldn't be concerned either.
