lets say a banda bandi goes on diet:halo: but that banda bandi gets hunger pangs and cant control his/her self whats the best way to deal with these.
i heard somewhere that Vitamin C helps in reducing hunger pangs. Is this true.
and btw hunger pangs are becoming louder and louder right now:halo: i can hear them from far.
I think Saafi helps cleanse the system (detoxifying effect) and also reduces hunger pangs. I find that by taking vitamin supplements i tend to feel hungry more, dont know why though.
it does?? thats crazy! why are they still selling it?
aishaindubai- if you want to lose weight, you have to exercise and eat right. eating right means lots of greens, even if you dont like them, plus lots of chicken, beef, fish, turkey etc., and limiting your carbs and sugar.
and also, if you're feeling hunger pangs, thats a bad thing. very bad. because whats going to happen is your body is going to think its starving, and its going to start slowing down its metabolism and holding on to its stores of fat because its preparing to sustain you for as long as possible while you're in "starvation mode". this is a very bad thing. for you to burn fat, your metabolism has to speed up. when you're starving yourself, you're basically ensuring you don't lose weight fast, or at all even, your body is deprived of the nutrients it needs, any weight you lose is water weight which will come right back once you start eating normally again... its pretty useless, and it sucks to be hungry all the time.
make a commitment to yourself to be healthier, not thinner. plus, i think you mentioned in another thread that you're anemic anyway... its all leading nowhere good if you keep this up.
try this salad- one green pepper (bell pepper), one apple, tomatoes, 1/2 a cucumber. chop them up into big chunky bits, combine and eat! sooo good, and no "greens". i dont like leafy salads, so this is my compromise. lost 6 lbs eating this for lunch!
drink lots of water, vitamin always makes me hungry so not sure with others and drink green tea after dinner actually stop with weight gain...works with me and my mom.
ok well, its not the only thing helps you lose weight- you know this, right?
eat a good breakfast- weightwatchers cereal is absolutely delish- or any other wholegrain cereal. then have the salad for lunch. keep a handful of almonds and other type of fruit handy for snacking in between. and then have a proper dinner- proteins, carbs, greens, the whole thing. it'll work! you should also have a bean salad for lunch if you're planning to work out- it'll give you the energy to last your whole workout. and like someone else said here- drink lots of water. water will really help too. now having said that, don't go and drink 4 litres in one day. drink the required 8 glasses. green tea is meant to be good too, yeah. i can't stand it, so i bought green tea extract supplement pills from the healthfood store. the only thing is, they're HUGE. its like the size of a horse pill. so i dont actually take any. d'oh.
